Work item witnessing

V-Raptor is able to capture witness records allowing an organisation to digitally record and keep records of witnessing of work items.

The digital witness records are a history of the time the work item was witnessed and the details of the witness.

A witness table will be included in the work item report if there are any witness records captured.

Witnessing a work item

1. From the Details tab on the toolbar, click the Witness icon

2. Click the New witness button in the Witness dialogue

3. Witness details can be recorded by various means.

   • By recording an e-signature on the work item captain's device

   • By scanning a QR code and having witnesses fill in their information on their own device

   • By scanning the witnesses' QR code on their own device

4. Have the witness enter their details, and sign the signature box to add the witness record.
