Fleets​

Fleets are a collection of assets, usually of the same type that are managed as a collection. An organisation can manage several fleets.

Asset group​

Asset groups are an optional permanent grouping of assets. Assets that are attached to a group are usually managed as a group rather than single assets, but can also be managed as single assets.

Asset consist​

Asset consists are an optional temporary grouping of assets. Assets that are attached to a consist are usually managed as a consist for the life of the consist as well as single assets.

Asset​

Assets are an assembly of parts that provide a function, either singularly or as part of a group or consist. An asset can be a member of a single asset group, and/or many asset consists.

Asset zone​

Asset zones will be made available in a future release

Asset zones are bounded areas of an asset that allow an asset to be managed at a physical level as a collection of zones. The zones of an asset are associated with the asset's type.

Creating a new fleet​

  1. Click on the menu button to open the menu

  2. Ensure you have an organisation selected

  3. Click on the + button to the right of the fleets section

  4. Enter details for the new fleet alt-text

  5. Click the Create button to save the new location

Editing an existing fleet​

  1. Click on the menu button to open the menu

  2. Click the gear icon next to the organisation name to go to the settings screen for your organisation

  3. Select the Fleets menu item

  4. A list of fleets is displayed, select the fleet that you wish to edit

  5. Make your changes, and click Save changes
