Document linking

Document links provide functionality for traceability between requirements and verification. Links exist within the source document linking a clause in the source document to a clause in a destination document.

The destination document maintains a list of incoming links from the source document. When the linked clause in the destination document is updated, the hash of the clause no-longer matches and the destination clause is marked as having been updated.

  1. Select a clause you want to link from

  2. From the Insert tab on the toolbar, click the Start link icon

  2. In the clause properties panel, click on the three vertical dots next to the link

  3. Click Clear updated flag to acknowledge the updated clause
