Requirement grammar check

Requirements are a special form of technical writing that has gramatical rules for authoring requirements that are clear, concise, and verifiable.

Enabling requirement check

1. From the Review tab on the toolbar, click the Check icon

Heading clauses are not checked for grammar.

Opening the clause grammar check panel

There may be requirements that have multiple problems making it difficult to see what the issues are with the requirement grammar. Opening the check pane will show a list of all the issues with the selected requirement clause.

1. From the Review tab on the toolbar, click the Check pane icon
2. Click on a clause with blue highlights

Customise requirement grammar rules

You can customise the grammar rules that v-raptor checks.

1. Open the user My Settings
2. Select Document
3. Tick/untick the rules that you want to customise
